View and organize your digital image collection or create slideshow
gBrowser is an Image Browser/Organizer with which you can view and organize your digital image collection (or collections!). Its layout is based on your file system; what you see in the Finder is what you see in gBrowser, but in a much more convenient way. It includes many other features, such as SlideShow capability, the 'Image Viewer' (very useful on multi-monitor setups, it can be used as a non-linear slideshow or just to more easily view pictures as you browse your collection), a utility to create slideshow screensavers, plugin support, free and friendly tech support, and much, much more.
In gBrowser, what you see is what you get.
The organization and layout of your image collection is based on the same files and Folders you see in the Finder. No mysterious hidden 'Library' or database that you can only access through the application or that looks like a complete mess in the Finder.
No, it's not skinnable (yet!). However, gBrowser offers you a great deal of flexibility in how it looks; you can make it as pretty (or as ugly) as you like. Want a drop shadow under your thumbnails? Or an outline around them? No problem! Don't like that boring white background color? Change it! Prefer alternating background colors in the rows of the file list? Done!
