Requirements: Mac OS X 10.2 or higher,Safari required
AcidSearch is a Browser software developed by Robin Hamilton-Pennell. After our trial and test, the software is proved to be official, secure and free. Here is the official description for AcidSearch:
New Features in AcidSearch 0.6
* SnapBack fixed (for most channels)
* New Search Channel Repository, where you can share channels with others
* Set the encoding for individual search channels
* Change the color of Find As You Type's selection
When you launch Safari after installing AcidSearch, you won't notice any new features immediately. AcidSearch was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. However, if you click on the magnifying glass icon in the search bar, you will see several new options. Select a search channel from the list, and from that point on, the search bar will search the site you have selected. You can also change channels (while the search field is selected) by pressing the down arrow to pop open the menu. Then press the arrow keys until the channel you would like to search is highlighted and press return to select it.
The Google channels have a special feature. Add an exclamation point to the end of your search term to do an "I'm Feeling Lucky" search. The exclamation point will not be included in the search.
